Section titled “Overview”Hub is migrating from Atlassian Connect to Atlassian Forge, Atlassian’s modern app development platform.
Current Status
Section titled “Current Status”Hub has been migrated to Forge on 30 September 2026 and will be rolling out to existing customers over the coming days, pending Marketplace approval.
What is Forge?
Section titled “What is Forge?”Forge is Atlassian’s next-generation platform for building Jira and Confluence apps. Compared to Connect, Forge offers:
- Improved security — app code runs inside Atlassian’s infrastructure, reducing the attack surface
- Simpler permissions model — granular, declared permissions reviewed by Atlassian
What This Means for You
Section titled “What This Means for You”The migration will happen automatically. You do not need to take any action — Hub will continue to work as normal before, during, and after the migration.
Your data, settings, and configurations will be fully preserved.
