Overview
Section titled “Overview”This setting controls whether published release notes include links to their related Jira work items. Use those links when the audience needs implementation context or a way to inspect the source work; turn them off in channels intended for people who do not have Jira access.
Issue links let you:
- Identify the specific issues addressed in each release.
- Control which channels display these links.
Most teams show issue links in internal announcements, where they give colleagues a direct path to the underlying work without adding unnecessary detail to customer-facing updates.
Choose channels
Section titled “Choose channels”Disable links only in the channels where they are not useful or accessible. The setting is per channel, so you can keep them in Confluence while removing them from a public-facing destination.
- Navigate to Settings > Jira issue links
- Disable the channels where you don’t want Jira issue links to appear.
