    Group a Jira board by assignee, priority, or any field

    BetterBoard does not hard-wire columns to status. Choose what the board groups by and change it whenever the work calls for a different view.

    How to group a board by a field

    Section titled “How to group a board by a field”

    1. Open grouping

      Section titled “Open grouping”

      Open the board’s grouping setting.

    2. Choose a field

      Section titled “Choose a field”

      Choose a field such as Status, Assignee, Priority, Sprint, Labels, or a single-select custom field.

    3. Change the view

      Section titled “Change the view”

      BetterBoard re-lays out the board immediately. Change the grouping again when you need a different view.
