Edit means direct inline editing from a card. Group dragging follows the normal update behaviour for every field that supports grouping.
Every field that can be filtered is also available in single-color card-color conditions. See Filter operators for the operators available to each field behaviour.
Field notes
Section titled “Field notes”Sprint
Section titled “Sprint”Sprint displays its active, future, or closed state on cards. Its filter has dedicated active sprint and backlog choices in addition to selecting a named sprint.
Assets
Section titled “Assets”Assets fields show linked Jira Assets objects as compact icon-and-label chips.
BetterBoard shows the first two objects on the card, with remaining values in a
keyboard-accessible +N overflow. Empty fields do not take up space on a card.
Assets filters compare object identity, not individual attributes such as service tier, criticality, status, or warranty date. Assets fields can be used for grouping, with one group per linked object present on the board and a No value group for work items without an object.
Assets chips are read-only: objects cannot be searched, linked, unlinked, or opened directly from a card or Command K. When grouped by an Assets field, dragging between groups is the supported way to assign or remove an object. A single-object field is replaced or cleared; a multiple-object field preserves unrelated objects and removes only the source object when moved to No value.
Blockers
Section titled “Blockers”Blockers is a synthetic field derived from Jira work item links. It shows a small indicator on cards with blocking relationships.
Time in Status
Section titled “Time in Status”Time in Status is a synthetic BetterBoard field, not a Jira field. It shows how
long a work item has been in its current status, for example 3d or 2w.
