Filter a Jira board without writing JQL

BetterBoard’s filter bar narrows the board through field, operator, and value pickers. No query language is required.

How to filter without JQL

1. Open the filter bar

   Select Filter in the board toolbar.

2. Choose a field

   Select Add filter, then choose a field such as Assignee, Sprint, Priority, or Labels.

3. Set the condition

   Choose an operator such as is, is not, is any of, or is empty, then select a value.

4. Refine the view

   Add more filters as needed; BetterBoard combines them with AND logic.

Tip: Anyone using the board can apply these filters to focus their own view.
