# Publishing

Publishing a roadmap makes it visible on your public portal, so customers and stakeholders can stay aligned on what’s coming next.

You can publish a single roadmap or multiple roadmaps at once, helping you tailor views for different audiences — such as customers, internal teams, or executive stakeholders.

As your team works and things change, you can update and re-publish your roadmap in just a couple of clicks. No need to manually edit each one.

## Publishing

To publish your roadmap, click the "Publish" button in the top right corner.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The roadmap navigation item in the portal or embeds well only show if at least one roadmap has been published and the roadmap module has been enabled.
{% endhint %}

## Unpublishing

To unpublish the roadmap view, simply press the unpublish icon right next to the publish button. Your roadmap will be immediately unavailable on the page embed.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.released.so/guide/product/roadmaps-and-ideas/publishing.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
